Q‐symmetry and conditional Q‐symmetries for Drinfel'd–Sokolov–Wilson system

We study in this paper the Q‐symmetry and conditional Q‐symmetries of Drinfel'd–Sokolov–Wilson equations. The solutions which we obtain in this paper take the form of convergent power series with easily computable components. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

THE INTERIOR LAYER SOLUTION TO NONLOCAL REACTION DIFFUSION EQUATIONS

An initial boundary value problem of semilinear nonlocal reaction diffusion equations is considered.Under some suitable conditions,using the asymptotic theory,the existence and asymptotic behavior of the interior layer solution to the initial boundary value problem are studied.     

Numerical treatment of solving singular integral equations by using Sinc approximations

In this paper we propose numerical treatment for singular integral equations. The methods are developed by means of the Sinc approximation with smoothing transformations. Such approximation is an effective technique against the singularities of the equations, and achieves exponential convergence. Therefore the methods improve conventional results where only polynomial convergence have been reported. The resulting algebraic system is solved by least squares approximation and leap frog algorithm. Estimation of errors of the approximate solution is presented. Some experimental tests are presented to show the efficient of the proposed methods.     

Inverse limits of hereditarily almost expandable class

In this paper, the hereditarily almost expandability of inverse limits is investigated, with two results obtained. Let X be the inverse limit space of an inverse system （Xα, π^αβ, ∧}. （1） Suppose X is hereditarily κ-metacompact, if each Xα is hereditarily pointwise collectionwise normal （almost θ-expandable, almost discrete θ-expandable）, then so is X; （2） Suppose X is hereditarily κ-σ-metacompact, if each Xα is hereditarily almost σ-expandable （almost discrete σ-expandable = σ-pointwise collectionwise normal）, then so is X.     

Entangled network and quantum communication

A theoretical scheme is introduced to generate entangled network via Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction. The dynamics of entanglement between different nodes, which is generated by direct or indirect interaction, is investigated. It is shown that, the direction of (DM) interaction and the locations of the nodes have a sensational effect on the degree of entanglement. The minimum entanglement generated between all the nodes is quantified. The upper and lower bounds of the entanglement depend on the direction of DM interaction, and the repetition of the behavior depends on the strength of DM. The generated entangled nodes are used as quantum channel to perform quantum teleportation, where it is shown that the fidelity of teleporting unknown information between the network members depends on the locations of the members.     

Phase switching and quantum interference in a 3-level Λ-shape bistable model

The steady state bistable behaviour of a three-level Λ-shape is examined in the presence of a control field $({\rm \Omega} +\chi \left( t\right) e^{i\varphi})$({\rm \Omega} +\chi \left( t\right) e^{i\varphi}) : Ω is the strong Rabi component, $\chi \left( t\right) $\chi \left( t\right) is the stochastic part with relative phase ϕ; with quantum interference between decay channels taken into account. One- and two-way phase switching effect for the transmitted field against the phase are predicted at fixed values for the incident input field. Also cooperative switching effect shows multistable/bistable behaviour. Quantum interference tends to diminish the dispersive effects responsible for multistable behaviour (in the input-output relation and the cooperative switching diagram) and asymmetry (in the phase switching diagram). Equivalence of the role of the stochastic part of the control field with that of the “classically” squeezed field is shown to occur only in the absence of quantum interference.
